The Language of Liberty Institute Nepal organized the Leadership Symposium from December 20-21, 2025, at Lakeside Retreat in Pokhara with the objective of strengthening leadership capacity, improving communication skills, and promoting liberal values among participants. The symposium brought together provincial ambassadors and members of the LLI network for learning, collaboration, and skill development.
The program began with welcome remarks and an introduction by Barsha Dahal, Content Writer and Alumni Coordinator at LLI Nepal, emphasizing teamwork, responsibility, and active participation. Dipendra Pahari led a session on leadership and liberalization, sharing personal experiences and insights on economic reform, leadership, and development. Other sessions included Subash Malla, who discussed identifying liberal issues at the provincial level with a focus on Gen Z migration and policy challenges. Manisha Adhikari, who presented on classical liberal ideas such as individualism & capitalism while Shristika Neupane, who led a practical session on fundraising and proposal writing.
Day 2 focused on professional and practical skills. Rohan Das covered event management through group activities and planning exercises, Dinesh Pathak explained the principles of a free market economy, Samjhana Parajuli facilitated a session on mindful leadership, Monmohan Rimal discussed corporate communications, and Srividhya Raghunathan Kaysatha guided participants on crafting effective speeches. The symposium also featured an elevator pitch session where provincial ambassadors presented their ideas.
Overall, the Liberty Symposium 2025 was a successful event that enhanced leadership skills, encouraged critical thinking, and strengthened collaboration among participants. Additionally, LLI Nepal introduced a new award named “ LLI Ambassador of The Year” this year, which was presented to Dinesh Pathak. He was selected as the winner among three nominees in recognition of his contributions.
