The Language of Liberty Institute successfully organized an awareness campaign and interactive discussion titled “Liberty, Entrepreneurship and Nepal” on March 13, 2026, at Birgunj Public College in Madhesh Province. The three-hour program brought together bachelor-level students from diverse academic backgrounds with the objective of promoting liberal entrepreneurship and highlighting the critical relationship between liberty, economic freedom, and innovation. The session began with an introduction to the institute’s mission of fostering critical thinking, open dialogue, and the values of liberty among youth. This was followed by an in-depth discussion on the concept of liberal entrepreneurship, emphasizing how freedom, individual initiative, and open markets create an enabling environment for business development and economic growth.
Throughout the program, participants actively engaged in discussions, sharing their perspectives and experiences related to entrepreneurship in Nepal. The dialogue explored key issues such as the challenges faced by young entrepreneurs, including limited access to resources, regulatory barriers, and societal preferences for traditional employment. At the same time, the discussion highlighted significant opportunities available in Nepal, particularly through the use of local resources, innovation, and the growing interest among youth in creating independent ventures. The importance of accepting risk, learning from failure, and fostering a culture that supports experimentation was also emphasized as essential components of entrepreneurial success.
The event played a vital role in enhancing participants’ understanding of how economic freedom and liberty contribute to innovation and job creation. It encouraged students to think beyond conventional career paths and consider entrepreneurship as a viable and impactful option for their future. Additionally, the program fostered meaningful interaction, idea-sharing, and networking among participants, creating a platform for continued engagement in discussions around entrepreneurship and economic development.
Overall, the event successfully achieved its objectives by raising awareness, inspiring young minds, and reinforcing the idea that Nepal’s youth have the potential to drive significant economic progress through innovation and enterprise. By promoting the principles of liberal entrepreneurship, the program underscored the importance of empowering individuals to take initiative, embrace creativity, and contribute to national development in a free and open economic environment.
